1st of all, just want to say that I've decided not to work. I guess the time should be better spent on assignments (better grades) than on getting $42 per week. I must set my priority right.
Anyway, I had a great time last Saturday. We went to Hougang Mall for breakfast and then to Punggol Field for photo shooting. As usual, Jimmy had a great time taking lots of photos. He climbed into the forbiddened Matilda's House. Ops! And he took some pictures inside. I waited outside with 2 other friends and I was badly burnt by the scorching sun. After that, we went to the National Museum!! Can you believe it?? Haha.. It was an interesting outing as I think I'll never suggest to go to a museum especially when we had to pay an entrance fee of $10. Well, thank God, it's national women's day! So we ladies got a free complimentary ticket each! My poor Jim had to pay $10. It's still a blessing though, cos he saved on my entrance fee.
We went for the Greek Sculptures and the History of Singapore. They were rather interesting. Jimmy was busy shooting while I was busy looking at the illustrations of different sculptures. He stopped shooting when we went to look at the History of Singapore. A hearing device was provided for each person to listen to the illustrations of different galleries. It was cool.. but I guess too overwhelming with too much information. We quickly browsed through the different sections and left for the movies.
Watched The Leap Years. It was a rather touching story. The hooking up part was very romantic. But I can't imagine waiting for someone for 12 years. I already miss Jimmy quite badly if I don't see him for a few days.. The couple in the story can tahan not seeing each other for 4 years!! And they only meet every 4 years!!! HOW??!! I don't think I can do it. Can you?
No photos at the moment as we'd had a busy Sun and Jimmy doesn't have much time to process and send me the photos yet.. I'll update and post the iRace event soon!
